He can't stay injury free though mate, I guarantee if he starts against Norwich he'll be missing the next match.
He did, was 2009 final. Yaya had a good game as a CB.Pep also had Yaya at centre back for a CL win if I recall correct?
I think we could see walker and stones centre back partnership together very soon .
Yip.The centurion season he was used every game because of injury until tiredness set in and he lost form at the tail end of the season.A consequence of Laporte’s injury is that Otamendi now needs to be treated with kid gloves. As much as he appears to be made of titanium and wishes to play every game, one of Stones, Walker, or Fernandinho is going to have to shift to the left at some point, partly because Otamendi needs to be rested and partly because someone will have to feel more comfortable playing on that side should anything happen to El Generalissimo, or should he pick up a suspension. Now, that rotation could happen in League Cup games or it could happen via tactical substitutions in matches where we are comfortably ahead. However, either way, it may indirectly affect the playing time youngsters such as Garcia and Foden receive. Of the three, I suspect Fernandinho would be more flexible and able to play there, but he’ll need to be used there in real games to see.

Has Garcia not been sent out on loan or is it another Garcia.
Strange if it is the central defender Garcia.
