Would you report your neighbour

It is commonly misunderstood that child contact and child maintenance are linked, and a parent who is refused contact with their child may consider that they do not need to pay child maintenance for a child they are not able to see.

Equally, if a parent is not paying child maintenance that they are liable to pay, the parent with whom the children live may feel that they should have less contact with the child on the basis they are refusing to pay.

Under the law of England and Wales, if you are liable to pay child maintenance, this liability remains even if you cannot see your child.

Child support payments are deducted from universal credit anyway.

They may have an informal arrangement and the woman has decided not to pursue a claim for spousal maintenance (if they were married).

Mind your own business, why do you want a family living precariously to be worse off because of jealousy, own sense of righteousness or whatever it is?
Sorry if this has already been covered, but I deal with benefits and stuff. Your comment is incorrect. Child maintenance isn't deducted from Universal Credit - here's an extract from the Government website:-

How it affects benefits

Child maintenance payments will not affect any benefits that you and your children get, including Universal Credit. You will not have to pay tax on them.

Handy tax dodge if you'd some good looking female employees that.

I bought a girl the other week a tent, her's had been burnt out on the canal. I came back with a new one and some fleece stuff. Poor girl was called Lisa and she was fucking freezing begging outside Sainsburys in Sale.

A chocolate shortbread, a large hot chocolate and a steak bake from Greggs.

The lot set me back about £100 and she started crying and said I didn't need to do that.

I really didn't have it, but people were just walking past her. I have a young daughter of my own and would hope someone would extend her a kindness if she was in tough times.
Nice one.

I’ve got children in there 30’s and I’m paying adult maintenance , there always after a few quid

If you thought they were a benefit cheat. Woman works 16hrs with 1 child 6 year old, the father only shows up on his birthday and Xmas, I think he pays cash for him otherwise legit he would want access to his son.also only working 16 hrs allows her all sorts of claims for financial help.holidays to Florida last year and wants for nothing.
She's entitled to work 16 hours without Affecting what she is entitled to on UC. The fact she is working 16 hours as a single parent to supplement her benefits suggests she's a decent woman and not a benefit fraud.

I bet you're sorry you started this thread with all the replies you've had. If not you should be.

Whilst I think the OP should keep his snout out, what do you all understand grassing is? For me, it’s when you’ve reported on other people to save yourself and not just reporting a crime.

Ratting people out when it's fuck all to do with you and/or when you're not even sure they've done anything, causing a load of unnecessary misery and hassle in their lives definitely qualifies.

It all depends on how much someone earns not how many hours they work to be entailed to UC depending on their circumstances ie children, housing costs, ect ect

Does income from onlyfans count towards the total?
