Would you sit in Utd end at OT?

Done it a number of times usually being with reds that I knew back then; 73 Stretford End paddock, nil nil; 74 Law game United Road paddock, 76 after the cup final United Road; In 86 and 90 lad who used to live next door had spare season tickets in the United Road seats so went with him; just about managed to keep sitting down when Brightwell's screamer hit the back of the net, remember a load of blues celebrating stood next to the dug outs.
Yeah a load of blues were celebrating next to the dug outs.Big Bernard from Milnrow had done a roaring trade selling tickets to Blues in the utd paddock ...still remember him on the Maine rd forecourt the home match before the derby ..."Get yer utd tickets"

Kicked off big time in there but every Blue who purchased a ticket knew the score...

I was in the proper away end behind the goal...and just like every Blue ive spoken to since "i was right in line with Brightwells shot when we scored"

Been in the exec boxes a couple of times their fans always turn around to watch replays on the screens in there. It great to see their faces when you retune the tv to another channel.
Fuck them

I went in the seats behind the goal (old stretford end) with my wife in the FA cup game in 2004 when we lost 4-2. It was ok until they scored, we stood up to blend in and some nutter jumped on my back celebrating. I was in an aisle seat and found myself staggering down the steps with this red twat on my back waving his scarf in the air. The misses thought it was all part of my blending in plan, all be it a little over the top. I have to say it was close to being the worst moment in my life. Looking back it was quite funny and gets a giggle in the pub from time to time. Was back again behind enemy lines for the 3-0 win a few years ago. A very different experience and actually very enjoyable.Took me 10 years though to get over the first one.

Good point. :) she went everywhere with us.didnt have enough points back then so had no choice.
These were a different breed though they were vile.
The abuse they gave out and language used was truly shocking, mainly because it was at their own players. Giggs and Heinze got it mostly but then Fergie ffs.
As i say, never again. Thankfully we now dont have to.
Heinze.lol forgot all about him.

No no no no no.

Don't be tempted.

Did it once and we won a Pen (Curly Wurly took it). The thought of having to celebrate a miss or not explode if it went in has stayed with me.

You have to remember that unless you're on the back row you've no idea who's rumbled you behind and when the fist will land onto the back of your head, which for me was about 5 seconds after Keith scored and I punched the air.

I have for the Gary Chuckle testimonial, but can't say I would for a proper derby. Also been to the swamp a few times on hospital which means that you can pretty much getting a way with a lot more (within reason)
