Would you take Johnson ahead of SWP to the world cup?

SWP seems to have been in the frame to go pretty much all the time but his recent (although not that recent!) drop off in form must be a concern for Capello. Johnson on the other hand is playing very well at the moment and while he sometimes lacks the final ball his skill and turn of pace is excellent, he could be useful back up for the world cup!

Do you think he lacks the experience to be thrown into a world cup or should he be given a chance to shine? Or should SWP still go?
 
let me see......... a guy who can beat someone, control the ball, great delivery, plays either side or a prima donna who believes his shit don't stink and who can't beat his own meat never mind a full back, couldn't control a balloon at present, and a player who has never been able to deliver a ball.....

hope no City players go to the world cup to be honest.

want all our players to rest and be ready for the Champion league qualifiers or the groups if we make third in the league.
 
I think i'd rather take Jermaine Pennant to the world cup than SWP.

But in all honesty, neither of them will go. Isn't Lennon back soon? He will go. Walcott will go, despite being no better than Kelvin Etuhu. And then Milner will go as 3rd choice right winger/utiliy player. Would i personally take Johnson to South Africa? Absolutely. But it's come a bit too soon for him i reckon.
 
If johnson has good games against the scum and Arsenal surely it will do his chances of going to the world cup even better. SWP is not playing well at the moment after his dickhead of a stepfather spouted his mouth off looking for a better deal for him. Good luck to Johnson i hope he doe's get picked for the world cup.
 
SWP, Walcott & Lennon should all stay at home, two are shite and one is unfit. I don't care much for England but If I were Capello I'd take Johnson and Milner.

Indeed! I would take Johnson ahead of Walcott (I don't rate him at all!)!

Ideally for me I'd take Johnson Lennon and Beckham(obv injured) - all have different attributes yet all excellent at them attributes; rather than taking 3 clones in Lennon SWP and Walcott (Lennon is the best!)
 
can do the things SWP can but better

and he can do loads of things SWP can't

he's due a pass like Barry's very very soon
