if it meant the end of Zabs tenure? Big no from me, Maicon is head and shoulders of Zab and even Micah and his arrival would establish a pecking order too hard to disrupt imo. However the fact he's almost 31 his best years would surely be behind him and having a character and a fans favourite like Pablo in the dressing room is great for the squad morale, would like him here for life

Absolutely no chance, Maicon may be the more accomplished player but Zab adds something players like him will never have, heart, commitment, passion and a 'never say die' attitude, Zab is a huge player in this squad and is worth his weight in gold.

I love Micah, and he had his best season for us last year, but I do worry about his distribution, he's just not a natural passer of a football, but he's strong as an ox and no one will beat him in a race. So it's a tough question, if Micah plays as well as last season, with Zab as back up and youth coming through, we probably don't need a RB but it is a position that I can understand Mancini taking a look at.

I'd prefer another winger than another defender, only really AJ giving us natural width, a right footed midfielder with a bit of skill and pace (Nasri!!) would almost complete the puzzle for me

yeah i wouldn't even take Messi coz we already have AJ that do a good work and is English and a fans favourite.

No chance, maicon for tevez is a lose lose situation for city. Absolutely pointless, Clichy richards and zab are all quality.

-- Thu Aug 04, 2011 11:35 am --

Wouldnt go that far! Messi's buy out clause is 1Bn for a reason......

and your point is? The point of buying any player is that he is better than what you already have in that position. Maicon isn't any more.

Maicon was destroyed by Bale in the CL.

Richards was our most improved player at the end of last season, would be a shame if he were edged out now. And we have cover with Zab.
