Would you take winning the treble if it meant Pep walks away?

I don’t get the point in hypothetical questions like this. It’s like ‘would you prefer the league or the CL’ - I want them both, why are we the only fan base that gets asked which one we want???

I want lots of things in life but I can’t have them.

I’ve now got a chance, be it a very difficult one still, of seeing City win the treble. :-)

If it did happen, and Pep decided he wanted to go back to Barcelona after doing that instead of seeing out his contract, I wouldn’t begrudge him doing that.

TBH, I don’t think he would do that as he loves the people he works with, the club, and the fans. He may even come to love Manchester and the rain still?

Also there is no politics to distract him from what he likes doing best, which is running a football team. This was the reason he left Barcelona and that is the reason he didn't stay on at Bayern.
At City he had the perfect footballing environment where he can do his thing and build a legacy without hindrance or interference.
He knows he is unlikely to get that anywhere else.
I think he'll be here a long time yet.

In Barcelona he learned a lesson: NO DIVOS PLAYERS. NO EGOTISTICAL PLAYERS. NO BRAT PLAYERS. NO IMMATURE PLAYERS. NO CONSPIRATORS PLAYERS.

Just one of them can destroy ALL.

Thats why he not just buy sports quality: he buy human quality.

You can be a very and young good player, but if you are a brat he never will buy you.

He just wants disciplined and healthy guys.

Pep prefers for 1.000 times Laporte than Piqué or Rodri than Toure or Foden than Ronaldinho.

He now is 52 years, and he knows his job is be alert with this thing and keep it.

Pep has already done the English domestic treble and quadruple in 1 season.

If he also did ‘the treble’, as the Rags and the Rag infested media call it, the only thing left to win with any value that Pep hasn’t won with City is the World Club Championship, which bar the Scousers going on about it for a season, nobody else seemed that arsed about it.
