He did pass away.
His son took over the site afterwards, and at the time there were some very loose discussions about the possibility of helping him convert it to a more search engine friendly and usable site. Unfortunately like many projects of this kind, we never really got it off the ground nor ironed out the details of it.

In fact I'd suggest that the Bluemoon history section is the most underutilised resource in the entirety of the City fandom and has thousands of hours of research and content put into it, yet is often forgotten by the average Bluemooner. I use it on a regular basis sometimes for reference, sometimes whilst drunk and wanting to watch some goals from the matches I went to in the 80s and 90s.
