Does any one no or can do it them selfs. I have the 3 rde rings on my Xbox cant send it to Xbox cause (Its Chipped) SHHHHHHHHHH. Does any one no who can fix them or anything. Need to play pro Im bored!!

you can try the xclamp repair, buy the xclamp kit on ebay its about £3, its a DIY job though. Chipped? I thought they were 'flashed' these days?

have you tried the towel method? search for it on google/youtube

It is very successful for getting it working in the short term apparently

If the drive has been "Flashed" you can still send back to Microsoft for repair. When it comes back however, it could be fitted with a new drive that is extremely difficult to "Flash".

My mate has tried that and it does work but what like you said, only short term. Also think it damages the console in the long run if you keep doing it.

from what ive heard all it is, is bad sectors on your 360 hard drive, i'm not saying try this i was just wondering if you can get the hdd out of the compartment and attach it to a pc via another external hdd and run chkdsk on it to repair the bad sectors?

theres a guy's card on the wall of the local chippy that can fix i'll get number if you not sorted it :)

Thanks guys tried the towel trick last night no bull shit it fecking works how weird is that im buzzin!!!!

dont expect it to last, the towel trick works but it'll be on its way out again soon. Its not to do with bad sectors, its the fact the xbox has a very bad design. The fan isnt powerful enough to stop the console overheating. The motherboard basically warps under the heat with time and becomes bent. The motherboard ends up touching other components and the solder melts between them, the X-Clamp replacement repair can work in some cases but in others the motherboard is just fucked and needs replacing. Mine did it and I got it repaired under there extended 3year warranty for the RROD problem.
