Not sure if this was posted already but apparently Pep wants Xabi Alonso as his assistant at the start of the next season. He's been coaching Real Sociedad's B team since the start of this season. I think this would be a good fit. He played under Pep, understands his philosophy etc. Former Spanish players understand the game at a much deeper level.
 
Cant see it.

He's an ex-dipper and therefore, having been born in a bush in Stanley Park, will have that Liverpool DNA and will be desperate for a chance to work for the club again, even if just to clean the bogs alongside Jackie from Breck Rd.

Such will be his love for the club there's no way he could work for any other.
