im currently on windows 2000 and ive been told i need to upgrade to windows xp in order for me to download a software that converts other formats to mp3 that i can put on mine and my sons phone.

does anyone know where i can download a free program to convert things to mp3 or does anyone know where i can download windows xp for a cheap price?

There' s a few on that site and although ive never used any of them, ive heard of that one and it seems to get good reviews.
