Simple really, Yaya is a better player. Oh, and KdB can do what Silva does, but is better at free kicks and corners, oh and has a better shot.

Go take your head for a shit.

Beat Arsenal without a striker so I wouldn't put it beyond Pep, anyway that was more tongue in cheek. Right now though we need pace out wide and possession and strength in midfield, that places Yaya ahead of Silva for me.

At least one of you is bright enough to realise you've made a dick of yourself and admitted your comments were tongue in cheek.

This Yaya at the moment that works hard out of possession is unstoppable, we always knew he was total class with the ball and can control a game, but I had a real problem with attitiude when we were NOT dominating a game!! If we give him a contract extension make sure its only one year though .... Otherwise he might revert to lazy Yaya who doesn't think he needs to put a shift in when we don't have the ball !!

Sorry but the reason we were shite at Liverpool is that Toure was at the heart of our midfield
When playing a team such as Liverpool we need to be direct and attack at pace and that is just not Toure's game. He slows everything down and it affects DeBrune's game

Would love to see the percentage of his passes going back to forwards. Not the Yaya of a few seasons ago when he took a game by the scruff of the neck. This Yaya wants it easy and doesn't want to get involved. He's happy to receive it but wants someone else to build the attack.

He'll have a good game against Burnley on Monday and the Yaya faithful will be back out in the droves sayings he's a legend and deserves a new contract. He needs to go along with Zabaleta, Kolarov, Sagna and Clichy. We need some more pace, energy, spirit and aggression back in the side.

One of his "faithful" a few pages back was trying to say Toure had almost supernatural powers, that scared his opponents so much they would not go near him.
Marcini Pellegrini and now guardiola have all made the mistake of trying to play him in a two at Anfield. With the same results.
He slows everything down, hinders those ahead of him and changes the pattern of play so that it is always in front of the back four.
No passes into the box , no challenges, but hey I bet he "recovered" the ball a few times.

And Silva? He was just as bad if not worse. Both need binning.

Had a few good games against weak opposition and the old Yaya is back press bullshit comes out

Was horribly exposed yesterday and proof that he can't perform at the highest level anymore

Horses for courses.

Yaya has a place in certain games and yesterday wasn't one of them, away to a Liverpool side that would press us to death.
