I am not knocking this tread at all, because Yaya is top draw, but I think we have to stop and think how fortunate we now are to have such an amazing squad. It is so difficult to single out one individual in our squad above others. If pretty much anybody in our squad had been with us 5 years ago they would have been the focal point of our affections and we would have pinned all of our hopes on them in the midst of the mediocrity that surrounded them.

Take Micah as an example. When he came through we were all truly excited and he was a star of the team. Now that he is back to his best he is just one of 11 star performers and isn't even guaranteed a starting place.The level of the change in our status is mind boggling and I am so grateful that after watching us being shit for 30 years and fearing that it might never get any better we are now so awesome.

I think he's a bit of a slow burner and it takes him a bit to get fully fit and into things. Other teams fear him and he brings a hell of a lot to the table. Probably needs to up his work rate at times but he's a class player

Brings a tear to my eye ! Great song for a great player. We must get this one going in memory of our wembley visits of which I will never forget, no matter what great times the future may hold for us.

Recently Yaya has disappointed me a bit with a few performances below his usual standard, but this guy deserves so much credit for our transformation. Last season he was immense and without him in the team we would be looking at a 36 years banner.

Tad naive of you to not recognise that he has played a different role the last two games whilst Nige has been out.

Awesome player that looks far more suited to the deeper role, just watch the pass again for the second goal at Spuds, class.

I was suprised no one really picked up on it, Nasri didnt have to break stride, and it was a side foot pass with very little back lift, the power he generated was unreal.

Benjani is a legend at our club for the amazing shoulder goal against the rags ... and thats about all he did.

Yaya scored the goal to take us past them and onto the FA cup and a lot more to go with him, great player, deserves all the credit.
