Re: Yaya Toure

What a laughing stock, was being talked about one of the best in the world, just a joke now. I hope he's embarrassed

Not sure if mentioned but Soccer AM have dedicated the finale show to yaya. Singing happy birthday to him, getting their guests to wish him a happy birthday, bringing out a yaya cake and also dedicating the live music to him too.

Anything new or shall i come back at page 450?

I'd come back in August if I were you mate, by which time this thread will make War And Peace look like a sheet of A4.
I just can't wait to see how some folk react if Yaya stays, then scores a hat trick in front of the Stretford End.
Then kisses the badge.
Their emotional and mental gymnastics will be a joy to behold.
They would probably still be trying to work out exactly how they feel on the way home.

Re: Yaya Toure

I read War And Peace in 2 seconds but then again its only 3 words so not much of an achievement

How do you know we wouldnt have had those goals from elsewhere? or controlled midfield some other way? And remember he wouldnt be controlling midfield the way he does or be the player he was if he hadnt come to us.

Following this epidsode whilst he may be up there with the best of them as a footballer, as a man he is nothing, those defending him need to have a good look at themselves, we supporters pay his wages and idolised him, by wearing his name on our shirts, and buying season tickets to watch etc etc, on much less money than he earns.
His actions are so disrespectful to the fans of our club he is treating us like we are dog shit on his shoe and his stature and job is far more important than ours.
Last year in my job I helped to return someones father, mother, son, daughter back to them after they had died and I did this at least a dozen times my job is far far more important than his and i've given something to numerous families over the year that money could never ever buy and Yaya could never give, ive never had a happy birthday from my boss infact my boss probably hasnt even bothered to find out when my birthday is and i couldnt care less.

The guy is a prize prick!

You really think Garcia would have provided the goals and dominant play that Yaya gave us? Come on. There is no legit argument that can be made about that. He's one of the best CM's in the world. Only the second CM to score 20 PL goals in a season(Lampard the other). Who else do we have that could have scored those free kick goals(Kolorov can't score those goals from the right)?

There is no defending what his agent has been doing but let's not be naive to think he's not a great player and would be nearly impossible to replace like for like. Very few clubs in the world where Yaya wouldn't walk into their lineup.

Where in my post did I say he wasnt a great player???
You have talked enough shite .

Re: Yaya Toure

Never thought I'd see a City story feature prominently on Have I Got News for You.

A couple of weeks ago everybody thought he should have been player of the year, now, trying to undermine his greatness. Gobshites. Semi against rags, final against stoke, newcastle 3 seasons ago, sunderland league cup, villa, palace this season. He may have been a dick but please don`t try to belittle his huge contribution to us.

Over 400 pages and few, if any, have belittled his huge contribution.

Just his conduct.

Re: Yaya Toure

As a legend of this club you would have thought he might have had a bit more oil in his can. However I can see that when we get round to building a statue of him instead of holding a football no doubt it will be a cake with happy birthday inscribed on it.
