So would all of you kneejerk haters rather he left, or stayed and helped us win more silverware next season?
Because those are the choices we have.
Personally I'd rather he stayed, but I'm sure you all know best.
Makes no difference what I think. He wants out and has just said as much on bein sports.

im confused as othes are sayign he said he wants to stay and win the CL iwith us?????

Silence from him at this time, for me equals further disrespect to the club.

Why not use that opportunity to make things clear, to apologize and so on, unless of course he has already made up his mind to leave.

Or he has been told to keep quiet

By us or his agent?

Won't be his agent

His is an utter **** but a very good footballer and that about sums the whole saga up, what will be will be, not worth worrying about it, the day after his last official day of employment at City i hope his cock falls off, with luck it won't be for another few years yet

Richard asked him directly on camera where he would be playing next season. He refused to answer and said he is just focusing on the World Cup and would give a statement on his future after the tournament ends.

Re: Yaya Toure

So he said nothing and he wants to stay and he wants to go according to Bluemoon.

And we say Yaya is vague!

someone posted earlier that he said he wanted to win the CL with us???

Re: Yaya Toure

richard keys specifically asked him what he can say to the city fan

was non committal , ..hiis reply was focusing on the world cup and things will care of themselves after that.

after his segment was over and he left the panel ....keys said that toure could have easily cleared the matter ...but didn't do so.
i think a video should be up i guess from Bein

cannt find a link to the interview yet

i don't think it would be for a while.

sorry for the confusion...he did say at the beginning of the "we want to win the CL" ....but by the end he was pretty clear about giving the statement after world cup

No need fella unless he said the last week was a brain fart by his agent and he is committed to City and he will not leave on pain of death then it doesn't matter what came out of his precious little mouth

Re: Yaya Toure

If the statements on here are correct I take it as non-committal.

He's not said he is upset and wants to go and he's not said everything is great and wants to stay. Anything else is interpretation.

Re: Yaya Toure

I'm in the not arsed group stays great goes I wish him well and we will get a replacement we move on as club like always

'We' probably refs to him and his agent

Re: Yaya Toure

He is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn't.

1) If he said staying at city that would have basically shown his agent up for what he is and brought discredit on Toure for backing him earlier.

2) If he says I won't be at city then he would cause a major rift between him and club and given he has three years left on a contract he only signed last year that could affect his position.

By being non committal it does nothing other than bides him more time to think which way he wants to play it, I read he was schedulled for a meeting with Khaldoon so maybe if he has had that Khaldoon has told him to keep stum, 7 weeks is a long time in football by the time he comes back hopefully cakegate will be forgotten.

Re: Yaya Toure

I suppose after making an utter fool of himself very recently by going on about the "poor treatment of him" by City I suppose he would make himself look a bigger fool if he announced tonight that everything is fine between him and City.

Hopefully behind the scenes the club without belittleing itself is in touch with him to make him see sense.
