According to Seluk, no one is. That comment from him surprised me the most—what is to be gained by indicating their have been no offers unless he is trying to walk back the situation.

Re: Yaya Toure

Maybe Seluk is a master of chess or something where he can plot every move right to the winning queen to bishop 4 and checkmate because I can't fathom the fucker out.

Nor can I.
I can't figure out what the heck their initial plan was, - what was the purpose and what did they think they would achieve by having Borat going public with those ridiculous claims. If not making an exit possible that is.

I think they are and have advised him to rock the boat to lower the fee involved. Idiots should know we've been there and bought the t-shirt with Tevez.

Re: Yaya Toure

This whole saga is very annoying. On the one hand we have a player who is one of the best to ever play for us, one who has scored fantastic goals and helped lift us to be one of the worlds top sides but then we have someone who earns more in a day than most of us earn in a year, gets treated like a king by staff and supporters, and still wants more.
It will either be resolved with him getting an increased offer and him returning to the fold and being treated like nothing has happened by us, or he will move on to Barca or Paris. Both outcomes leave a sour taste, but I guess if he still performs to his best for us then that is the best result. But I can see further down the line if he puts in one of those couldn't care less performances away at the likes of Hull or Leicester, his commitment to the club will be questioned more than ever.

Re: Yaya Toure

All I can make out from the bits posted on here is that

Seluk reckons

a) Without Yaya city would have won fuck all (debatable given there are other world class players in the team)

b) The Spanish duo were in charge of Barca when they sold him to City (he didn't need to sign for us, if Barca were his love and life) unless they forced him out and in Yaya's mind they are doing the same.

c) The club are intending on buying midfield players who might be used in rotation policy with Yaya (competition should always get the most out of players)

d) Silva and Aguero have been given new contracts (They are younger and probably in more demand) Yaya hasn't.

e) He wants a coaching role at city in three years time, well his outburst so soon after club have won 2nd premiership trophy have probably put a kybosh on that, what sort of role model would he turn out to be.

f) If he is unhappy and wants to leave there are a million other ways he could have done it without the need for this sort of behaviour but there are no clubs in for him.

There simply is no rhyme or reason to this unless he thinks the club are going to say, oh sorry Yaya, you also need another contract till you are 35 and by the way once that is complete you will take over from Patrick Vierra in the Academy while he becomes first team manager, and again if that is what he thinks is love and respect by MCFC he has IMO gone about it in a bloody daft way.

Maybe, I just feel when under pressure Fernandinho doesn't have that ability to make the ball stick with him like you see others. No doubting his passing ability. I was thinking more along the lines of how Yaya plays now or similar to Xavi / Alonso / Pirlo play for their teams in how they can pick the ball up in CM and dictate the game. Like TCIB said, it could just be the role he has now I haven't seen that from him yet.

You are talking about the deep lying play maker. The one that distributes the ball from a deep position and controls the game. Here he is:

Fernandinho's zone is in and around the final third of the pitch.

you can see how fernando would play in the exact same position yaya does now. literally every pass he makes in that video are passes yaya plays for us. the trade off is apparently a lot more defensive solidity versus yaya's driving runs and dribbling forward. i think if we got a wide left attacking player (e.g. di maria or the like) we could be better next year with fernando and not yaya

hart
zaba kompany CB kolarov
fernando
fernandinho

then either

silva nasri
dzeko aguero

or

navas silva di maria
aguero/dzeko

Personnel changes will have to be made further up the pitch to bring the best out of Fernandinho.

I think will see more of Navas and Milner on the right side.

Has he gone yet?
No he's staying with the guarantee that seluk can represent all the players at the club...
Don't tempt fate!
Haha,i think the one who should be gone is the fcuker seluk,he's making kia (tevez agent) seem like a decent bloke...

Re: Yaya Toure

Its all good talk about replacing yaya with a similar playmaking CM, but he won't replace his goals. A 15 goal a season wide forward/winger would also need to be brought in to makeup the lost goals

Re: Yaya Toure

How would we all feel if he said he wanted to stay now? Obviously a world class player but every transfer window would be the same surely?

Re: Yaya Toure

Why would we offer him a new deal when his current one doesn't run out until he's 34?

We are in a good position here whatever happens.

Re: Yaya Toure

Wonder where the smug posters are telling us all that yaya wants to stay, it's all his agents doing and selling him would be moronic. Latest comments take the piss further. I'm sure khaldoon has this in hand

Re: Yaya Toure

Fantastic player who has done great things for us, would of been remembered as one of the most important players ever at this club but he's fucked it now

I think it was Seluks plan to not make yaya look a greedy twat but has stupidly backfired with the world of football laughing at the pair of them

Get rid and bring in Barkley/Pogba

Surprised nobody's mentioned Gundogan.. Bit different but fantastic player

Re: Yaya Toure

Nobody put a gun to his head and made him sign the improved deal that still has THREE years to run, unlike Gerrard at Liverpool. He signed the contract he stays here until that runs out unless the club wants it differently. Now he can whine and sulk all he wants,or he can do what he is handsomely paid for and win us games and trophies. His fucking choice!

Re: Yaya Toure

He's had plenty of time to right things. I guess Mubarek as taken matters up, and it's not Yaya's call anymore. Pity really but he's been silly in what he's said, what his leach as said and what he hasn't done.
