I put his behaviour towards Pep down to his ego alone and not just Seluk stirring things.
Pep was the first manager to drop him. He was getting rid of the deadwood and the fat (in Yaya's case).
This move to Greece does indeed show that Yaya is well past his sell by date. He was past it under Pellegrini and the rest of the league knew it.
Pep just called a spade a spade (that's as racist as it gets) and told him he would only be used sparingly, if he got himself fit.

None of this sat well with Yaya's delusional ego.
The truth is when he was in his prime with us, other teams feared him. He scared the sh1t out of United in the Mancini days.
His last couple of seasons with us, teams rubbed their hands when they saw him on our team sheet.

He was just a fading diva in denial.

Haha he probably thought he was a dead cert mp would take him in,no-one in the prem wanted him,playing in greece is not the great triumph his agent is making out

The irony is that, Sheikh Mansour absolutely idolised the guy, and would’ve given him & his family anything they ever wanted for the rest of their lives.

Yet he chose to stick with Seluk who’s done nothing but use Toure as a meal tkt, virtually, throughout the whole of his professional career

I think yaya is a bit simple and has a huge opinion of himself,like you say HRH would have given him anything.He thought us fans would back him whatever he did or said,the racist stuff was the last straw for many
 
The sad thing for me is that on the football field, Yaya was the most influential player in my opinion since the takeover. All the big games, the big moments he turned up, and I loved him for it. I even let him get away with cake-gate but his body has slowly been in decline and, like Zabaleta, it was time for him to move on to a club with lower ambitions and play a role. But since the glorious send off we gave him, he has completely wiped his ass with his legacy and shown that he and his agent are just disgusting human beings. He has no respect for the club, no respect for fans like me who loved him during the good times and defended him during the bad and it's just a sad sad end for someone who could have had statues erected for his contributions on the pitch. Now his name just leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. No self-awareness at all. I just think it's hilarious now that he thought he could just walk into another top 6 club, and then when he couldn't he was so sure another premier league club would snap him up.

By the way what happened to London?
Seluk and Yaya are lying, insulting shitstains and they appear to deserve each other.
