Yaya Toure (contract at Olympiakos terminated P18)

It's a shame to see the demise of one of our best ever players. He has been so badly advised by his clown of an agent. But when your legs have gone that's it. It happens to all the greats eventually.

Ultimately though someone like David Silva will be remembered much more fondly, even though they are both part of the same history
 
If it wasnt for Yaya's gobby agent , he would have been regarded as one of our best ever players ,certainly by me , a colossus of a player who made the diffference in the big games , quite sure the club would have given him another year , having a player of his stature around the first team squad can only be a positive and eventually he could coached one of the clubs in the CFG group or been a great ambassador for our club on the African continent in future years , but his agent cocked that up and his legacy at MCFC , Birthdaycakegate will always unfortunately be referred to when Yaya is remembered
 
Yaya is one of the best players we have ever had & deserves that as his legacy, whatever bad decisions he has made.

He might be a proper **** or an easily influenced/brainwashed **** but he is a big part of our history, same as Mancini, Silva, Vinny, etc.

If we've seen our arses with him after that, for good reason, that's fair enough but it doesn't change what he did for City.

He is one of the main reasons we are where we are.
