Yaya Toure

Before the game on Wednesday , i was pleased Yaya was included in the team , i thought he had one more big game left in him , the rampaging midfielder of yesterday , unfortunately his performance only confirmed he is finished at the top level , it is not pleasant witnessing a truly great players decline , and he should be remembered for all the vital winning goals in some very big games . We should now be looking forward to a new era under Pep , so thanks Yaya its been a blast.
 
It's a non story. Vinny has often talked in the past about wanting to make history with the club. Yaya and Silva when they joined both said how excited they were "about the project".

The quotes are probably true. So what? They only go to show how much we have achieved in the last few years. Yaya has contributed more than anyone.

Bollocks, utter Bollocks. I assume your not old enough to have watched "Colin The King". There's a reason the club named a stand after him.
 
Rags were the bigger club by a mile then and for a 3 second when his agent told him Manchester he thought it's them. He could do better and not speak about it though, no need for it as it's obvious how other fans will use that. And he definitely doesn't need to say he has huge respect for Rags, fuck that. Could you imagine some River Plate player saying he has huge respect for Boca Juniors? No, I couldn't too, he would be shot next day.
 
I'd say Toure delivered the best performance in a single season by a single player that I've ever seen at our club. It was arguably the best season by any midfielder in PL history. And he's been a very good player for us in his time here, but I'm not sure he's even the best of the current team in terms of doing it consistently over an extended period. That'd have to be Aguero for me, who has never failed to score at his astonishing rate as well as turning up just as often as Yaya in the big moments.
 
Yaya has been a brilliant servant but his lack of interest and notable drop in form spells his end at the club. He's done most things at City, as part of a squad and the title wins and cups would have been less likely if it wasn't for him taking the lead from time to time.
