Yaya Toure

How many times a world-class moment of magic brilliance from Yaya saved us ?
Countless games were we looking like never scoring until one of his vital goals comes and bail us out .
Skill-wise and due to his crucial goals in big games, not a single player could be worthy of the comparison with Yaya, it is really not even a contest.
He is one of the most gifted player i have seen from the last decade.
Basically, with the correct direction and training, he could have played successfully at almost any position in the pitch,
be it as a goalie, as a centre-back, as a n°10, as a false 9, hell, even as a bursting wing man.
Long time before we witness another player as gifted and versatile as Yaya, maybe never ever.
Now, i agree that even if he may seem like a bit of a **** in the edges; it is a sign of the times we live in.
Call them modern mercenaries if you want, but the times of loyal players such as Maldini and Le Tissier are long gone.
Nowadays, players don't give a flying fook about legacy. It is money and individual interest above all else.
Yaya is a water drop in an ocean of greedy and selfish spoiled batch.

What more can I add?

Oh yes Yaya made a mockery of the 'Best Midfielder of his generation' by making the ginger poseur appear as 2nd tier footballer. At the Wembley Derby

End of his career @Steve68 51 games for Burnley then 87 games for Stockport county in 4 years not bad for end of career..
Think Yaya's at the end of his career also but not a Legend in your eyes..

Remember when his agent said he would move on in the summer last time ..

Bet all the rag bastards were gutted then...

All this but Pep got rid at Barca bollocks the rag media are putting out at the moment..

Summerbee left in June 1975, moving to Burnley, for a £25,000 fee so what makes him a legend and not Yaya?

So let me get this right just because his slimy agent spouts a load of shit to the press Yaya's on field gains for the club is worth nothing?
He's a Legend in my eyes...

So what your saying is it's all his agents fault.... utter bollocks he's a big boy and if he disagrees with something you come out and say it... unless you agree with it. I know I do!!!!

It's all a charade a fucking game it sells papers and puts the club in the news all be it bad press but press never the less..

If it was all true why did he sign a new 4 year contract last time his agent said he was off? I posted a link daily fail but hey you believe what you want to believe...

This article in the mirror. Are we seriously being asked to believe that yaya didn't know it was us interested when his own brother played there?
Would the club not have spoken to kolo and said they'd like yaya to join us?
Wouldn't kolo have rang his brother and told him?
Makes no difference really. I dare say that one of yaya's parting digs will be that he wished he'd have joined the rags.
