I'd keep him 100% next season, said it a million times but he still has too much to offer, Pirlo & Xavi managed it for Juve and Barca, honestly don't see why he can't play the role they did. I'd also be gutted if he went to another premier league side which supposedly the papers are reporting if Pep doesn't want him.

Yes, I read that this morning. He has another year on his contract, at the end of which he'll be 34 and can then be sent on that slow boat to China [probably with Kolo in tow].

I've been his biggest critic this season but we are a poorer team without the big man.

I'd rest him tonight, leave him fresh for Sunday because we need a hungry and rested yaya more in the Derby

When was the last time Yaya turned up in a derby?

Got bullied by Fellaini at their spot last season.

The last time we played them at home. It was Yaya's pass that sent Clichy away to cross to Sergio for the winner.

He wasn't brilliant by any means but he certainly turned up.

Yaya is a complete enigma - he's effing world class when he's arsed. So many claim that he sucks at defense... but, when motivated, I've seen Yaya time and again steel the ball away without fouling in some sort of spectacular defensive play.

It's sad that Yaya isn't motivated to play all the time; if so, he'd be right up there against Messi and others for winning the Ballon D'or.

I used to fucking hate Yaya - evey time I'd watch him play, he'd mail it in. This season I've paid closer attention. When motivated, there's no one better as a box to box midfielder; his range of passing, ability to take on defenders one-on-one and score, and Yes!!! - his ability to defend - are unmatched.

Yaya seemingly doesn't get along with Pep - so I foresee his departure next season.

I wish Yaya well wherever he may end up.

But, if I'm wrong... and he stays at City... can someone for GOD'S-SAKE - buy him a Birthday Cake, LOL?!?!?!

"Oh, Yaya Toure we should pay you some more!"

He's a great player and owe him a lot. But I don't want a player who mostly either can't be arsed or, even worse, can't cut it any more; here next season. Players who need 'motivating' should be shown the door.
