That is bollocks and you know it. You've been found out. Everyone on here knows it. You hate him that much it's unbelievable.

Hahaha, hates a bit strong, strongly dislike is probably closer to the truth but that doesn't mean I want him to fail. Why would I? I support City, not individual players and while he wears a City shirt I want him to do well but sadly it's not happening and hasn't for a while however you try to dress it up. He's not performed to the best of his abilities for two years barring the odd 10-15 minute spell here and there.

What like Carrick and that German Old Guy..
They are just as bad.

We can see that. But some City fans wont see it in our own. Schweinsteiger legs have gone. Carrick was always slow. Now he's even slower. Toure was once a physical phenomena. There was no finer sight in football than Toure breaking with the ball at his feet and the opposition back-pedalling.

Doesn't need to track runners in that set up.

If he's in a 3 and playing off the striker it gives him the freedom to deliver.

Only players like Delph, Fernando have to sit. And Yaya doesn't have all the attacking powers he once had

He played well tonight. He has proven that he has a role. However he will be even slower in August. I'd let him go. There will be some clubs who will take him.

We need a replacement and does anyone seriously think Toure will be a regular starter under Guardiola? You all know he will not. At least he will go out as a League Cup winner at Wembley. brought us our best days. Much more influential than any other City player which is why his decline is hurting us now

It's a real mystery why, as Yayas legs go, he would not be the perfect player to sit in front of the back four. I genuinely cannot understand why it has not worked. Is it because he is not disciplined to play that position or the choice of the manager to move more freely around the pitch.

Pep bought Alonso to fulfil a similar role and Yaya like Alonso is one of the few players who has the courage to play the ball through the lines as Pep demands of his holding midfielders. If he stays he could really prosper in that position if he was prepared to play it
