Fiorentina winger Alessio Cerci has revealed he may be playing his football elsewhere next season.

It is understood that Cerci is a target of Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.

The former Roma player has failed to rule out an exit from the Stadio Artemio Franchi at some point over the next six weeks.

“I’m not sure whether I will be staying here for the new campaign,” he commented.

Can Mancio or another Italianophone reveal if there's been anything in the Italian press about Cerci recently? Thought he was a certainty to come, in fairness.

I supposed Nasri would give us four for the wide positions (AJ, DS, MB) anyway.

The impressive performances of Vlad and even SWP yesterday will surely put an end to this link? Cerci is an unpolished diamond but so is Weiss, except the latter has more big game experience and more pace.

i dont think we will get him... wots the point? AJ, SWP (always plays decent and worth a goal or 5 a season), Weiss (looked quality whenever ive seen him) + Assulin, Razak etc. and johno isnt gonna start every game depending on milner, balotelli etc. performances
