Respect to all City fans who made that trip. In that era my away trips were confined to the midlands and the delights of Shrewsbury Town's Gay Meadow and Walsall's Fellows Park (RIP those grounds). But my lowest point ad aCity fan wasn't away, it was the loss at home to Bury (RIP that club).

Dark days but I couldn't wait for the next match or the one after that, no matter how shit we was or what the result was I always looked forward to the next game.

And if memory serves me right I watched us beat wrexham in the waterside pub in summerseat, I was out with my girl friend at the time and made sure I was sat facing one of the tv's.
