you,ve never won feck all

Firstly you don't even own your own ground, you "rent it" from the council ffs very impressive, your attendances are only greater by the fact that our ground is currently not big enough for our fan base, Spurs have the most expensive season tickets in the country at up to £1675 each and over £1000 on average, yet we still have over 22,000 fans on our season ticket waiting list and over 70,000 One Hotspur members.

You will lose out big time if you try to compare your support to Tottenham's, Spurs have the Third highest all time average attendance, Manchester City got 17,000 fans LOL for a UEFA Cup tie, then another massive crowd of 21,000 last week, you got 35,000 for a League game a little while a go oh dear, Spurs almost always sell out for UEFA Cup ties, unless Daniel Levy takes the piss like he did last week, by charging us £53 for a ticket, 33,000 is as low as we go, our League games sell out weeks and sometimes months in advance, Spurs are going to build a new £400m 60,000 seater stadium in the next few years, but don't let those facts deter you from your ill informed rant will you.

Your owner might have more money, but Tottenham as a club generate over DOUBLE what Manchester City do, hence the fact that you never had a pot to piss in for years and years.
Thanks Essexyid, I am indeed overwhelmed by your support. As you say, we once had a crowd of 35,000 at Eastlands for a league game. It was against Fulham with their huge following.
35,000 really is dire isn't it? Can you please re

36,000 that is all we can accomadate at WHL, at the present time, with 22,000 fans who pay a fee yearly to stay on our growing season ticket waiting list, along with with over 70,000 One Hotspur members, hope that helps.

a lot of people seem to think that football was invented in 1993. I never understand why we talk about premiership titles rather than league titles so Utd can score points off liverpool....

For example if the FA cup was renamed to something else with a different format would we not mention the previous winners and their significance?

City had a similar sized waiting list when they were at Maine Road...

You might also want to check on you has the record for biggest EVER crowd in England.

Love the way you accuse Levy of "taking the piss" charging £53 for a ticket last week or on average charging over a thousand for a season ticket then bragging about the fact you have double our turnover! I'm just happy to be paying under £400 for my season ticket & watching the likes of Robinho.... that's all.

don't start with us on attendances. Manchester City have the record for the highest ever attendance out of all the league clubs in England.

No it doesn't. You're laughing at 35k (once), yet you only get 36k. You started by stating facts about your trophy haul, then finished with conjecture about what your attendances might one day be. Lets stick to the facts. Our gates are higher than yours. And whilst we are stating facts, City have the highest ever crowd (over 85,000) for a domestic match in England (vs Stoke City, 1950's). Thanks for your contribution to this forum. Enjoy your season.

Oh and can I add Essexyid, as you were being a bit hopeful with your truth. That 85,000 that Blue62 talks of is actually believed to be woefully underestimated as a few scallies on the turnstiles were fiddling them to pocket a bit of cash while it was so busy. If you Google for pictures you will see kids sat on hay-bales on the pitch and people scaling lamp posts outside. The actual figure is thought to be nearer 100,000+ people for that league game. And before you snigger at that, Maine Road was designed as a 110,000 capacity stadium just like the Wembley Stadium that was built at the same time, by the same company, McAlpine's!

Now then Essex boy, full marks for arrogance. Oh and for stupidity......can't believe what you soft shits are daft enough to pay for a season ticket. What's worse, you seem to be proud of it.......you're not Harry Enfield are you? Maybe not, heard he doesn't follow the likes of Ricky Villa FC.

All i can say is you poor bastards paying as much as £1675 to watch another also ran, who will never again reach the dizzy heights of the top 4, yep neither would we without our new owners but at least our club doesn't mug our fans to let us watch us win fuck all.............as for the spending of 400m on a new ground i think you need to as the one you got for such a so called big club is a shit hole!! although in the current climate i doubt a new ground is priority to levy.............its great to talk about history but also about the future and thats something i don't see you yids having a great deal to do with!

How can you chat shit about attendances when we still have a record

Highest Official Attendance – 84,569 v Stoke City, 3/3/1934 (this remains a record for games outside of London & Glasgow)

Stick that up ya Jazz & Dave

Couple of points lads the 85'000 was fa cup 6th round match against stoke, not a league match, but we have had several league matches in excess of 80'000, the only other club to get over 80k was that BIG club from kings road, the red shite got 80k when they borrowed our ground after uwe's grandad bombed the shit out of O.T.
One other point, HOW the F*ck can you win nothing ? ? ?

spurs fans singing this to us yesterday, everton last season sang it and a few others have why ? dont they know football history, ok years ago but the fact is we have won leagues fa and league cups and ecw cup so what the fuck they on about
Spurs fans know exactly what Manchester City have and have not won, and also the fact that Manchester City have not won a trophy for 32 years now.

Tottenham Hotspur (17 trophies) and Everton (15 trophies), sing that song to Manchester City as compared to them Manchester City have in fact won f*** all in comparison.

Sorry if it seems like a piss take, I am just explaining why it is sung to the likes of Mancheter City, and most other clubs.
Great post, thanks, except you say that Spurs fans know exactly how many trophies we've won, and go on to state only that it's 'f***all in comparison.' How many is it then?
Tell you what, I'll save you time as you don't know anyway - it's 9 trophies, major ones that is, all the domestic honours plus a European trophy. So obviously 9 is sod-all in comparison to 15 or 17.
By the way, our ground is bigger & better than yours, our attendances are better than yours and Everton's (who cares about them?), and we have far more money than you. In addition to that we are nice people whereas White Hart Lane is one of the nastiest atmospheres one could ever experience.
22000 season ticket waiting list, is impressive, but my brother in law managed to get one instantly 2 years ago, wasnt a member and spurs had been shit.

your crowds under george graham were sub 30000 loads of times, not great out of a city london's size.

oh and i remember going to white hart lane in 1985, mark lillis scored, a bumber 17000 crowd that day, with plent of blues.

also your cup crowds are distorted by the fact in the early rounds season ticket holders get in for nothing.

and you didnt sell out sunday.

Not had a pot to piss in for years? We have blown more cash on players in the last ten years than your 'giant' club has ever posessed.
All your club have done since Glen 'the saviour' Hoddle was in charge is tell the press and your fans that you are going to buy this world class player or that world class player whilst at the same time only ever actually buying Bobby Zamora.
