it was just a bad day for us today, everton cant play football so they just frustrate there opponents with blocks and break up the play and play off set pieces.maybe we should have played this way tonight as it was odvious they were gona play like that.sooner or later we will be able to figure out how to get throught teams like everton.they came with a solid game plan and it worked.it was a typical away performance and fair play to them they won.what annoys me is how all the blues on here are going on as if its the end of the world and sayin how things went wrong at this time and its this players fault, what a load of rubbish some of you talk! we played ok tonight and the lads tried with constant pressure, its very hard to get through a non footballing team who play with 10 defenders.theres still a long way to go yet so we still have a chance more than anyone.
Your the joke and its not just your inability to start a sentence with a capital letter. Everton played decent football tonight. Have a look at the build up to the Cahill chip and the Osman shot that was deflected wide. You'll see comfortable, intelligent passing. True we sat off and let them do it, but they do play football. You see with teams like Everton, they can play football and they can play ugly. All the best teams can do it. It's why Utd have been so successful.
How many saves did Howard make tonight?
How many shots on target did we have tonight?
What was the most amount of passes in a row we put together tonight?
Answer those questions and you'll find the reason why we lost and deserved to.
We had about 20 mins where we did ok and when the pressure was on them, they panic and start hoofing the ball anywhere. But their defence stood firm and we did nothing to hurt them.
Moyes completely out did Mancini again. I don't rate Mancini and never have. A Johnson was one of the few players causing them real problems, why on earth would you take him off? His reaction to Moyes holding the ball during a substitution is a real worry. He's obviously under real pressure and it won't surprise me if we have yet another new manager in the summer. We are becoming a joke. Hopefully someone who knows football, knows the Prem league will decide who we bring in as manager when the Italian is booted out.
Do any of you think any of our players would show the determination to see out a game in the same way Tim Howard did tonight after getting injured. I think not.
We seriously need to find a team of players who genuinely want to play for Man City and each other, rather than just the ££££ we will offer them.
As for the OP, sort yourself out.
