Your Bedroom growing up

United wallpaper, United curtains, United duvet set, United posters covering every inch of the wall, I'm not even joking.

Had this poster when I was about 16
NIRVANA-Kurt-Cobain-I-Hate-Myself-And-I-Want-To-Die-Poster.jpg

Prior to that and during I pinned all my old city shirts to the woodchipped wall. Had a box full of Volkswagen badges I'd been out an teeved in 86/87. Had a nice set of old hi-fi separates. A pool table which sat in the middle of the room. Around the time sky sports kicked in I had football in my room too. Sega mega drive nights and bongs with the boys was a common occurrence too.

Through the years there was neighbors Kylie, Michael Jackson, Gloria Estefan, Mike Tyson, Cindy Crawford, Pamela Anderson, Kurt Cobain... all I can remember for now :)

Oh I would get all my sticker swaps of City players and put them on my door how the team line up would look

1 and a half walls were The Beatles/Paul posters, 1 wall was city posters, 1 wall was Michael J Fox posters. The curtains were full of city rosettes and home made cut outs pinned to them, the ceiling was half The Beatles posters and then bits of other bands etc. Always wanted to paint a football pitch onto the top of my old chest of drawers but was never allowed, so when i hit late teens but still at home i painted cartoon characters all over the front instead. Had a light blue carpet, light blue door, blue curtains. The wallpaper was still a 1970s flowery yellow thing which is why mum let me cover it with postser growing up rather than have anyone redecorate ;)

Stereo with Deep Purple, Yes, David Bowie, The Who albums. Subbuteo always set up. City as home team. My brother's Aston Villa as away team. Araldite to fix the broken legs. Collection of Giles Cartoons. Collection of football player cards from mini wheat boxes (14 Peter Lorimers that I kept in case I could trade them). A board game that was given to my father by the German POWs kept on a farm behind his house that was carved out of wood and kept in Red Cross parcels. Poster of Jaguar E type driven by Steve McQueen. A cable car I built out of lego running from the desk to the top of the cupboard, run by the lego train motor. Airfix Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane, Messerschmitt hanging from fishing line. Airfix Apollo moon rocket. 2000AD and Look and Learn magazines. My granddad's mining lamp.
