My first away game was tranmere rovers we was all in the kop end, in 97/98 i think! i got tommy wrights autograph and i think we drew 0 - 0. think they had a bush above the tunnel in the maine stand.

City took 60000000000000 fans that day, peter reid and mark ward scored in a 2-1 win. carnt remember the year early 90s..........

A midweek game at the swamp around 1978. Finished 2-2 but can't remember who scored or how the scoring went. Just remember it being well dodgy outside the away end after the game

I was at that game too fella. Went in the Mersey Clipper before the match and Andy Dibble was there drinking with all the blues at the bar. Quality away game that, just has a nice feel to the place. Took my then bird on a pre season friendly when Anelka made his debut.
My first away game was Forest away about 1992/3. It felt strange hearing 'away' fans cheering louder than us! (me being used to being the home fan with loads of noise). Not been away since Sheffield UTD in 1999/2000. That was a piss funny trip, if not a wee bit intimidating.
