Its Guinness time any day of the week.
Well its finally here.Got the day planned ?
Me and the lad are travelling in by train via Crewe and will be sampling the delights of our first couple of pints at the Picadilly Tavern which has 22 different guest beers and 125 different worldwide and locally brewed beers.
Over to the Bulls Head (opposite Picaadilly Station) and then @ 3.00pm move on to Mary D`s to meet up with some friends.
See the game out back to Winsford via Crewe and back home for some more hops and barley.
Even better, the missus is out for the night, sooooo no need to rush home. HIC !!

Off for a swim now, healthy breakfast at gym. Train into town about 2. Mary day to buy some programmes about 3 after a pleasant walk along the canal. Meet my dad. His 68th consecutive first game of the season attendance!!! Potter around city square. Sort Andy h out with his ticket! Have a bet. Enjoy.

It's great to still be this excited.

Relaxed breakfast. leave Edinburgh at 10 with Mrs S. Stop at Tebay for lunch around 12. Check in at Hotel and then metro along to Etihad around 3pm Couple of pints in Summerbee then another couple on the concourse. Use my vouchers! Sit back and enjoy. scrum down on metro back to Ashton. Hotel and then wine to celebrate the start of a new adventure. Home by lunch tomorrow. Watch the game again to spot all the tactical brilliance I missed today. Happy days!

Got no money so not going to town.

Probably have left over Pizza at 12 and then crack open a few tins starting at 5ish.

Morning - shopping
Early afternoon watching cricket/olympics
3pm - Gillette soccer Saturday
5.30pm - hide behind sofa and hope I don't hear more than 4 bouts of outrageous cheering from my neighbours.
7.30pm - emerge from behind sofa with numerous empty cans of lager, to watch olympics, and contemplate being bottom of the table.

Had to gamble about the game being moved, so I worked last night, and I'm working again tonight :( so unable to go, and won't be able to watch it either, as I'll be on the way to work, and I'm not listening to that tw@t Collymore on Talkshite.
