What's your typical match day routine?

I love the home games on a Saturday. Start off with ducados great thread on the fixtures. Drive to urmston to pick my kids up. Full English breakfast In a greasy spoon. Train into town. Amble slowly across town via 2 pubs. Get to Mary ds and buy some programmes off Carl. Go around the main entrance and see the old timers arrive. Half an hour in city square and then into the ground about ten to three!

Then I study the seat patterns and predict the exact attendance.

It's great to still be this excited about the match having done the same thing for 30 years !

first season as a season ticket holder. Up at 6.30, leave at about 8.00. Drive from just outside Edinburgh. Breakfast is a bacon and black pudding roll at Tebay. Drive to Ashton. If we are staying over, check in. Walk to the metro at Ashton west and out to the ground by 1.30. Spend half an hour in city square then a pint in the concourse and a beef pie. In seats by 2.30 to watch the warm up. Love it. Please god I have many more seasons doing this.

For a 3 o'clock fixture here goes:

9.00 - Set off with family from South Queensferry
9.15 - pick brother up from Edinburgh outskirts
10.40 - cross border
11.15 - stop at Teebay services for pee, coffee and three bottles of beer which I'll have on my return
1.00 arrive at St Anne's Church car park.
1.15 hit the Townley for a pint.
2.30 over to our seats in SS3
4.50 walk back to the car buzzing.
5.15 start the journey home.
9.00 crack open the beers and watch MotD.

Can't make today as we I'm heading up north sadly but my brother will be doing the routine on my behalf.

Train from hazel grove into town about 12 ish.
Few beers around northern quarter.
Taxi to the ground about ten to three because "We've got time for one more haven't we" .
Sit in seats about five past three.
Walk back into town and get train back about 7 ish.
Cover myself in Chinese about 9 o'clock..

There's no way I could miss the first five minutes of a game.

Walk into town for about 12. Rice and three in This n That in the Northern Qtr. Few pints in City Sq. Spend all half time queuing for a beer and moaning about the bar staff.

Train from Preston at 12:00 to Picadilly (though today i think we have to go to Victoria). Into the Waldorf for a few beers and watch the 12:45 game if there's one on. Get the tram about 2 from Picadilly. Quick pint in Mary D's and then get in my seat about 2:55. Normally head straight home after the game.

Drive to the ground two hours before kick off. Get a proggy on JMW. Go in, ready to report some bastard to the stewards for sitting in my seat (not happened yet since we turfed up at the CoMS, Eastlands, The Etihad!), pie and bovril INSIDE on the concourse (you bastards who buy outside the ground - how the fukc dya think we can afford Messi if yer buyin yer pies in Piccadilly off some snotty Rag who's stall wouldn't pass a simple hygiene test!), sit in my seat, read the proggy and then ponder the possible scenarios of a right royal fuck up in defence, and some more Wilf finishing - careful you folk in the squishy seats on L2, keep yer eye on the ball!

Wake up, quick shag with the missus, full english breakfast served with coffee and a pint of guinness. Then a drink or two somewhere in town and then at maybe 1pm towards Townley. To ground half an hour before KO, last pint and on to my seat.
writing this made me realise how much I love Saturday games (3pm and the late kick offs). bring it onnnnn!
