Eccles of course! Just Eccles!!
I am in a philosophical mood today. Life has been a bit rough the past few weeks and I have managed to keep myself sane (no laughing at the back there!!) by remembering that everyone has their own 'burdens', problems what have you, and these words helped me:

You never really know the true impact you have on those around you. You never know how much someone needed that smile you gave them. You never know how much your kindness turned someone's entire life around, or just changed their thinking. You never know how much someone needed that hug (although of course at present it has to be virtual) or that long, deep talk.
So don't wait to be kind or for someone else to be kind to you. Don't wait for someone to change. Just be kind because you never know how much someone needs it.

Just EB's Sunday thought for the day! Sorry for the lack of laughter, just a smile today of kindness, I hope you will accept it in the manner I intended. :-) :-)

What is your philosophy? What keeps you going? :-)

No one is better than you but remember you are no better than anyone else either. Whether it is the bank manager or the office cleaner be nice to them.
The colour of someones skin, religion, sexuality or disability should never be used for hatred against them.

You should never have free time. That's a philosophy I feel everyone should live by. What I mean by that is, fulfil every moment, particularly in these days of sporadic isolation and restrictions. Learn a language, read an enlightening book, get in touch with family even if it's just exchanging some WhatsApp messages, take up running, take up swimming, take up cycling, learn to computer code, go on a walk with a loved one, give a Christmas gift to someone who is least expecting it this year.

Basically, just do something. We live an age where there are boundless resources at your fingertips, don't let that go to waste. Enrich your life while you have it.

The last few years have been shite for me health wise, especially the 1st year and a half of that. I got somewhat better and just as i got put on multiple immune suppressants, boom, pandemic. I always try to remember that they're are toddlers in hospital with cancer so i shouldn't moan and be thankful and aware it could be worse.
