Seems relatively bright and also possesses good technique, so English football will probably stamp those attributes out of him.
All that will happen is he will do something half decent and dwell on it for the rest of his career. Happens with 95% of young English players

or he could be signed by a club that focus on young naturally gifted players and turn them into exciting premiership players. Jack Wilshire, Cleverley, Wilfred Zaha (will be), spring to mind.

It looked like Derby wanted it more. Some of the City players didnt want to know when Derby got stuck in especially Pozo. Mason Bennett looked the outstanding player on the pitch and hes only 16. Viera, Sellars and Andrew Cole were there watching.

Sellers was there watching? I should hope so. He is head of football at the academy. Vierra just filling up his diary. And Andrew Cole will always be Andy Cole despite what his ego decides. Sellers is a good solid man.

Interesting twitter convo between City's Dominic McHale and Derby's Will Hughes

there was a nice nostalga about last night, driving home in the dark along some A roads havign lost away to a fairly insepid opponents. Oh well.

thought George Evans looked a cut above again, Facey looks good at right back.

Cole's hold up play was ok, he missed probably our only decent chance though. Lopez looks strong breaking from the middle. Pozo dissapointed, all moves ended when he got the ball, he either shot tamely or got tackles, always wanted more time on the ball. He will improve through. Comical sending off as i dont think anyone, including the linesman that eventually gave the decision about 3 minutes after the event, saw what happened and the No. 6 for Derby was up again with no lasting effects.

It was very much like the first team. Debry played 4-5-1 and packed it, we dominated possesion but rarely created, a couple of good moves here and there.

-- Wed Feb 27, 2013 2:17 pm --

Game, set, and match. Thought with several of the underage U21 players dropping down City would win this.
Same here. The guy who runs the @MCFC_NGEN_ACAD twitter account said none of the players were at it today, saying the best player was Kean Bryan for City.

2nd straight exit at 5th round.

Kean Bryan came on in injury time so either its a probably a WUM

That sounds rather like the previous round against Burnley, we spent 75 minutes passing it around in front of their defence instead of getting behind them.
