YouTube to usb stick for nowt? Any ideas?

I need to download a mix onto a USB today for a charity gig.
I'm not keen on paying for something I'll use once.
So for me the quickest way is YouTube to usb.
But all the download sites want money for converting and moving to a usb.


Anyone help?

It's for charidee mayte.

Can’t you download and convert to mp3 for free anymore (and then transfer to a usb)? I haven’t needed to do it in ages but you could certainly do that for free in the past.
 
- Use search engine for YouTube to mp3 converter (getmp3)
- Copy YouTube video link and paste into the converter search box.
- Select Audio conversion rate with the quality you want to convert (MP3 320 kbps or whatever suitable)
- Click on the download button.
- Save MP3 file to USB.

It seems not
I had a really good convertor years ago but I can't remember it
They all ask for money once you try to export the files.

I'm a vinyl DJ not used to laptop.

I think the guy I'm working with is doing me a playlist.

I feel like a fraud.

Good luck with the gig mate, hope it’s stress free - and he gives you the playlist with a bit of notice!

Don't you have a mature with a Spotify account? Would that work?
 
I do a lot of ripping off YouTube but you have to very careful with the online converters. They are riddled with malware and Trojan’s.
 

For future you want this. It's what all these dodgy sites use on their backend. May as well use it yourself, I do, but it requires a bit of command line typing

That's the version that rips Spotify playlists. You tell it the Spotify playlist URL, then it finds the song on Youtube, downloads it, converts it to mp3 and names properly it.
