That was my first ever live Manchester Derby. I would have been 6 or 7. Scarred for life.2 against Man Yoo at Maine road, 1993. We were 2 up at half time both Niall Quinn goals and they got 3 in the 2nd half. One of only 2 times i had a ticket for the main stand as opposed to the kippax. Seriously depressed afterwards. ..think it was a Sunday game.
Nah, you'd have the Wigan cup final and CL final in a heartbeat. You beat me to post this. Without the past and if we were so successful previously (and that lot being successful) we would probably have ended up with an entitled support like them and not got got our current owners. Everything happens for a reason but I'm sure Big Mal didn't quite plan it that way when he demolished our team (Owen, Barnes, Watson, Hartford) and replaced them with Stepanovic, Silkman and Shinton. Still seems amazing to me that such a thing could have happened.
Ha, I was going to say! This is a top thread. You think this question has been asked before? Haha!
That one really hurt, if I remember it rightly the rags had been 2 goals up in a european game the week before & lost the game?2 against Man Yoo at Maine road, 1993. We were 2 up at half time both Niall Quinn goals and they got 3 in the 2nd half. One of only 2 times i had a ticket for the main stand as opposed to the kippax. Use 9 and humiliate themId use 9 for an away game v boro 15 16 years ago
edit
oops.memory fail,it was only 14 years ago and and i only want to use 8 of them, forgot we scored 1
I'd have gone half and half with the 5-0 over the Dippers in 17/18 on that basis.I'd honestly go for the 1-6.
No coming back from that.
