You're assuming they have access to a legal system that other clubs don't have, because they ARE getting him on the cheap. He is under investigation for a serious sexual assault and we (City) will not take that chance and rightly so.

Most people would believe that this is common sense no?

Do you really think if there was something concrete on these allegations that he would be allowed to travel out of the UK and to Africa for the Afcon? do you really think Brighton would let him play in the first team if this was proven or if there was still an ongoing investigation? lets just pump our breaks here and hold off on this whole thing until we get a clearer picture on what's going on here.

They don't see him as a flight risk, if they didn't believe he didn't have a part in the offence he wouldn't still be under investigation.

Nobody on here is hanging him as a guilty man they are just saying he's not worth the punt because the investigation is still ongoing.

They don't see a supposed sexual assault "offender" as a flight risk? You really think the police are so inept that they would be willing to take a chance on him not being a flight risk?

They don't see it fit to strike him off the list as a suspect either, when he gets removed from that list he'll get more chances of a move other than spurs.

All I am saying is, lets not make it seem like we didn't move in for him because of some unfounded and unproven allegation! Spurs wanted him and we didn't. Simple! Put the whole assault bullshit to sleep.

He's still under investigation, meaning the police haven't released him from their enquiries. Unproven allegations don't come into it.

Why hasn't he been taken off the list of suspects after so long? Are there any suspects other than him? Maybe we should ask the spurs HR department because they've more than likely more knowledge than the investigating officers.

Guilty or not, theres no way City would even consider a deal for Bissouma given the media shitstorm we are about to face once Mendy’s trial begins. The PR optics would be horrendous
