In the light of our injuries I’m surprised we are not trying to keep him. Decent player and plays on several positions. He’ll free up a foreign spot I guess.A loan would usually still involve a fee,plus wages.

I really hope he takes this. Betis are a dream loan side. Attacking football, good coach in a top league. Europa League football this season, 49,000 season ticket holders, one of the best derbies in europe, great city.

Still, looking on the bright side, it’s a damn sight more than we ever got for the (combined) loans of Denayar, Sinclair & Roberts
