We need to look at the other options - Mendy is largely unproven at the very top level and we are being asked to pay top dollar. He's obviously got potential but walking away has to be an option. I wonder whether Bertrand is a better option (£35m) but can we get him?

Thought for the day for the flappers. If Monaco are in the mood to accuse us of tapping up, why would they sell us Mendy for anything other than silly money? If at all?

50 mill, should keep them happy, also Monaco could be in line for an income of 225 mill off city, reckon they love us right now contrary to the reports.
