The Worlds biggest Bands

Biggest Bands By Decade (or so I would think.)

60s. The Beatles
70's. The Rolling Stones
80's. U2
90's. Metallica
00's. Foo Fighters
10's. I have no idea.

It's hard to tell because official record sales tracking has been dodgy in certain eras due to 'creative accounting practices.. But I bet each bands is near the top of the list of each of those decades.

You mean in 2017? At a UK venue?
If it's bands only, and not individual artists, then maybe:
The Beatles
U2
Pink Floyd
Daft Punk
Abba
Led Zeppelin

It would also depend if it was their first (or rare) 'reunion' gig, or whether they had been constantly touring, like U2
