I was impressed with the ground he covers, you can see why Pep rates him so much, on more than one occasion he was there covering his own fullback.
He worked very hard as he always does, but we don't need him.

We have 5 forwards and Foden and Diaz. If Sanchez comes in, then we halt the development of our own players

agree. if he comes in it means sterling/sane get less game time and foden is pushed further down the pecking order.

Still unable to trust Pep.. ;-)

So why did he bid 60m then?
There must be some reason. Which one?
Foden being a 17 yo kid? Diaz being 18?
Bernardo maybe seen as OM and not out wide?

Maybe Sanchez isn't Mr. Right. But not for the reasons you are offering.
In terms of risk management we still do need cover on the left wing. In addition to LB.

Finally, how can you suggest Pep doesn't care enough about players' developments? I guess he will have a plan.
What about Stones, Ota, Raz, Delph. Delph!! Where have you been the last 16 months, Marvin?
