I sincerely hope this is a horrible rumour. He should either be working on a farm or doing the stock room at sports direct in his trackies and polo shirt. We should have loftier ambitions than Maguire if we want to win the CL.

Bang on, Evans and Martinez no good for us. Watched Maguire since his days at Sheff U as gone to games with Blades mates, hes improved so much and will continue to do so under Pep.

A couple of seasons is more than enough. While Mangala isn't the best on the ball he is still the better option than the likes of Maguire.

Many on this forum haven't clearly seem him play this season. Far better option than Evans and Martinez ( no PL experience) and very dangerous at set pieces and is a target man...and very comfortable on the ball as well, will suit our style of play

50m is steep but I would much happier with him rather than Evans / Martinez
