The whole point of it though is so the decision isn't "wrong", exactly for situations like tonight with the Mata goal, if the goal stood it would've been the "wrong" decision and unfair on the opposition whether the decision is for or against you.

I have no problem with it and the decision was correct but they should remove the 'clear and obvious mistakes' from the tagline if they are going to overturn such marginal errors.

Yeah I agree, the ref should be able to call on it in any Goals, Pens, Red card situations imho

Poll has just said that 'clear and obvious' doesn't apply to offsides, so I guess that's fair enough. Anyway, no doubt it will all improve and become clearer in time.
