Indeed, and most of the problems defensively then revolved around our full backs, one of Pep's most important positions, and one which to me he seems to over rotate, but are Mendy and Angelino any better at Peps game than Kolorov and Clichy were ?

I'd have Kolorov and Clichy back in their day any day of the week ahead of Mendy and Angelino.

Looks to me like the team have written off the PL season and are just treading water until all our injuries have gone and potential reinforcements arrive in Jan and then we'll go all out for the CL when it starts up again in Feb

It's not. The team look like they're frustrated rather than not trying, to me. Needs some leadership because there's too much arm flailing going on when things don't go our way.

Absolute toss once again. Can't say I'm excited to watch the exact same bullshit again next week.

Can't decide if this is more like Pep's first season or Pellegrini's last.

A bit of both to be fair. Slow passing that seems to be going through the phases and an inability to defend the very few chances the opposition gets.
