Its only politics mad if you spend your life on twitter etc etc. If you don't then politics passes you by. My news is still in 30 minute a day bites. Thats enough for anyone.Very true but I mean from what I remember from adults and how they behaved back then.

I grew up in the late 60's/ early 70's. I remember fuck all about any optimism etc but I do remember stuff that affected me...like the power cuts, Queens jubilee etc etc.

If I sat in an office all day and someone started to talk about politics they would have a staple in their forehead. Even in pubs in the 80's onwards. Politics was a no-no conversation. Quite why that's changed now I have no idea. Politicians were just as much idiots in those days as they are now.
