Wouldn’t have thought it’d be a City fan, though you never know.
Something needs to change, not sure you can stop it completely though.
Harsher penalties and maybe verifying accounts would be a start and would stop a large percentage of it.
It’s certainly gotten worse more recently, or maybe it’s just more prominent now there are even more social media platforms.
Disgusting behaviour, only made much worse by people hiding behind a keyboard.

Give them a hi viz bib with "I like to abuse people because of their skin colour" written on it, and a broom, and get them sweeping the streets of moss side for a fortnight for a start. Maybe that kind of education will work.

Of course players should be able to be on any social media outlet they want to be on but I still dont get why famous people leave themselves open for anyone in the world to be able to contact them randomly.

Not sure what can be done to stop this. Banning people of social media won’t work, as has been proven so perhaps these people should be ridiculed, point fingers & laugh at their ignorance & stupidity. Make them the village idiot as nobody like getting ridiculed for their opinions.
