“Bit of a pisshead” is a serious understatement! I was playing in the Isle of Man tournament early 80s and the rags reserves/recovering injured (Robson, Buchan, Macari from memory) were in it too. Robson was propped in the corner of the bar in Douglas casino at 2am with 2 very fit women on his arm and I have never seen anyone down pints and whiskey chasers at such a rate.
