Good to see Pep taking a leaf out of Pellegrini's book in sticking by the same old tried and tested pish no matter how poor they have been performing, whilst leaving MOTM performing young lads out of not only the 1st 11 but the match day squad. Thought this guy was supposed to have balls?

(If Maffeo is injured - I'll apologise in advance, however there's still no logical excuse for choosing Fernando over Garcia).

Well a RB isn't a whole lot of use if you decide to play 3 at the back tbf. Whether 3 at the back is a good idea is another question, but once you've made that choice then Maffeo becomes a bit redundant (especially against a Pulis team where defenders will be mainly heading the ball)

Didn't play a 3 at Celtic or Spurs or Barca or United so that's 4 of the six we didn't win.

And played 3 at the back Vs Everton and we were excellent.

They will offer nothing going forward other than set pieces and long hoof out of defence - in that context Kola and Fern2 make absolute sense given we will need a physical presence - no fan of either but understand the thinking
