Jordon Ibe

First, Andy Carroll a few days previously; now, Ibe has been robbed at knife point while driving home from training. Happened a couple of weeks back, apparently. His car was hit by another vehicle, and he was forced to hand over a £25k Rolex watch.

The price of the watch is irrelevant 25k to him is like £100 watch to most people

I'm unsure about where Ibe was robbed as I haven't read the article but this plays a significant factor in this issue of players being robbed.

In The North West many players have been known to pay protection money in order to safeguard themselves, with some players having CP (although this for me is pointless if the thieves are heavily armed)
But yea large sums are sent to protection firms to avoid being burgled.

Sure these lads are making alot of money but I'd rather be poor and not worry about being robbed/not having to pay protection money.
What I would do is own illegal guns, and regularly arm myself - fuck the police, it doesn't protect these lads and I'd be unsurprised if Intel about players came from Police sources.

As for feeling sorry for them as they have alot of money, this is irrelevant, nobody deserves to live in fear

eh what?

This reminds me of the days growing up when houses would be burgled and then a few days later someone would knock to say he could get it all back for a price.

“Yo @IbeJordon It’s about that day in Surrey keys... where them boys stripped u down in the shopping centre.

“Can’t get back the watch for nothing tho. The roads don’t work like that. Road men look at it like, I’VE risked my freedom for that watch.”

He is an ex player
Have no idea how 'iced out kettle' is rhyming slang for watch
