We were better than Germany anyone saying differently needs to ask themselves why, 1 goal smashed in from out side the box without breaking the defence down properly?

Were we great? Not really but we were decent in a tactical sense though and we created more... just no cutting edge where it mattered didn't capitalise on any of the good positions we got ourselves into(that's why you can't say it was great). The German fans are way more used to football being played that way, maybe that's the difference between England... Germany and Italy we don't have the patience for the tactical side of the game where you don't waste chance after chance we will boo and the team will respond and probably fall into the traps they set as a result. When we were outplaying them for a good 60mins they were quiet but there was no booing so they kept calm and stayed in the game.

As has Lallana. However, Alli, Vardy nor Lallana have faces as punchable as Lingaard.

England played well actually but did not take their chances especially in the first half. Germany were strolling throughout and if you want to script the perfect ending to an international career then you can't do a better job in my opinion. Fitting ending to a very respectable career from LUKAS PODOLSKI!!. Great left foot and always played well for Germany.

Oh come of it making excuses for Germany. We didn't play a settled team either nor our usual formation. They put out a decent team with plenty of caps in them, Sané was playing for crying out loud are you really trying to say they put out a weak team and didn't want to win? They have more quality players to choose from than us, I mean Vardy is kind of our best striker available at the moment in a way(Kane injured?)... what do you expect?

We don't deserve a decent national side when I really think about it haha.

You should know by now most of us don't give a shit about england we just want our players to come back without an injury,if you had all you best players away in internationals you might feel the same
