Fantasy Premier League - FPL 2023/24

I also cpt smelly mo. Tough choice this week. Dbl game week but all tough games so hard to pick winners. Haaland injury, I've been toying with selling for some time. I could take a -4 and get issak and Foden in. But my midfield is stacked. Mo is currently worst performing. Palmer and Gordon...

Hopefully they just issue something meaningless and take the delay as a win. But the actual arguments in court where a clear threat to the constitution.

They have to issue some sort of ruling as they have taken the case. But its clearly bonkers that it needs anything further. The Trump lawyers were trying to argue that some illegal things might be legal if done as an official act. But the doj were countering with examples were it would be insane...

There are no cameras in the room. The best you get is live tweets. The best bits will be stormy d testimony.

The control of media and its use to shift political views is long understood. However people seem to think the algorithms used in social media aren't manipulated and don't shift the dial. Probably because 90% of content is bollocks.

Agree but a rogue juror seems his best hope. On the other hand if they hate him by the end of the trial and see him as a persistent BSer then the felony charge becomes more promising. True, but it's American and they love locking up criminals. No guarantee he would get out pending an appeal.

Last manager who City fans really wanted sacked

I'm not one for sacking managers. Alan Ball the last time I thought the manager was clearly the problem.

True. That is dragging on. But like all these Trump trials you think it's gone quiet and it will jump back to life.

He's undoubtedly breached it and pissed of the judge in arguing about it. But he's not going to get much more than a fine. Suspended jail time at best. The judge should put him on warning though. Crazy he's let him get away with so much already.

He's always banging on about testifying. It's only an issue because he keeps threatening to do it. Literally any other defendant gets told its a bad idea and that's the end of it. But Trump can't resist BSing his way through life. Its always worked for him so in his mind he assumes all he has to...

    VAR Discussion Thread - 2023/24

The reality is however you cut it the margins of the rules will work for and against one team over another. Someone will always get pissed off. Imagine that scenario was reversed and it was the rags that had scored that goal. Replays show he's a toe offside but benefit given to the attacker. We...

True, but more tories voted against it than for it. That change was won with Labour and lib dem votes. All the no votes were from who you would expect I.e. over half the tory party and the dup.

Not really, if Jacob Rees Mog had his way homosexuality would be illegal. At almost every significant event in modernising equality laws its the tories that have stood in the way.

    Donald Trump

As pointed out by some journalist in threads, he's running a cheap ass campaign. Holds his rallies in fields as he doest want to pay anybody. Or have seats to fill. Using a field means no one knows how many people are there. But the lack of infrastructure makes the events horrible to attend...

Have just learned that Andy Street (Mayor, West Midlands) and Michael Fabricant MP are “life partners”. Always find it odd that you get gay tories.
