Now the Rags arent involved in the europa league , does it now revert to the pain in the arse insignificant 2nd rate trophy for losers it always has been

I'm assuming that the CL spot is still available for the winners, so no. It's worth Everton and Arsenal's best efforts to win it. Arguably more so than either domestic trophy.
