It’s genuinely frightening how much territory he was covering against Villa, and he was still driving forward beyond their last man. They’ve got some rapid and strong players but found themselves up against a physical freak.

The back 3 suits our defenders alot more than the back 4 as it gives them more freedom to pass.

Even if Ake is fit, id rather Ake play more in Dias spot in the centre to give Gvardiol more minutes.

His passing and dribbling is probably some of the best I have ever seen from a CB.

His weaknesses will improve with experience and coaching, but you cannot teach his strengths. Not sure I've ever seen such a combination of physicality and technical ability in a young defender

Just need more practice with the regulars to build up more chemistry

Made a mistake holding the off-side line in their goal but otherwise solid

One or two cases he should pass down to the side but too many touches on the ball saw Pep told me to move ball faster to the side and he will get better
